The Deep Kneepad option provides an individual with a more padded, deeper, and longer kneepad. It is useful for those persons who prove difficult to contain their knees on the Model EP-80 or the Model EP-85.
The Deep Kneepad option includes the backing plate, upholstery, and padding. It comes pre-drilled to match the bolt pattern on the Model EP-80 or the Model EP-85 kneepad assembly. Installation only takes a few minutes and only requires an open-end wrench.

In some cases, it may be necessary to move the kneepad toward the individual being transferred. Necessity often occurs when a person has a large abdomen (the abdomen forces the chestpad away from the individual, thereby moving the kneepad) or extremely short thighs. Moving the kneepad is also often important when fitting children.
Kneepads may be moved up to 1" closer to the individual with the appropriate spacer kit.

The Kneepad Bolster is a padded divider used to keep the knees apart. By forcing the knees to the outer edges of the kneepad, a wider stance is achieved. The Kneepad Bolster is provided with hook-and-loop fasteners for easy installation.
The Kneepad Bolster is especially useful for very tall individuals and persons with scoliosis.
